LA JUVENTUD VENEZOLANA: REALIDADES, COMPLEJIDADES Y DESAFIOS: VENEZUELAN YOUTH: REALITIES, COMPLEXITIES AND CHALLENGES

Resumen

En los últimos años en Venezuela, la crisis humanitaria ha comprometido todos los aspectos de la vida social de los diferentes sectores de la población. Especialmente los jóvenes no se han visto libres de tales problemas o desafíos, y esto se manifiesta de manera contundente en las estadísticas de los procesos migratorios experimentados hasta ahora. Estudiar las percepciones de este grupo demográfico es de suma importancia para comprender las dinámicas de prácticas y acciones locales inherentes a éstos en el entramado de la arqueología social venezolana actual. Asumiendo que las distintas realidades que se viven en el país condicionan o no de manera manifiesta la consecución de las metas y objetivos que persiguen los jóvenes para abrirse un espacio donde ejecutar sus habilidades, talentos y potencialidades, además de obtener el reconocimiento de otros actores sociales. El estudio posee un enfoque interpretativo donde se emplea metodología cualitativa de nivel descriptivo utilizando el método de focus group “entrevista grupal” para la recolección de información, interpretando los datos obtenidos mediante el método hermenéutico. Estructurado en las siguientes fases: 1) Documental:  análisis crítico de bibliografía fundamentada en el área temática que se investiga 2) De campo, donde se implementó  un focus group que tuvo como instrumento un guion de entrevista semiestructurado, los informantes fueron estudiantes del séptimo trimestre de la Escuela de Comunicación Social de la Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua, con edades comprendidas entre 17  y 20 años seleccionados por un muestro no probabilístico de carácter intencional. A sabiendas que la Juventud venezolana a pesar de las adversidades del panorama nacional ha desarrollado potencialidades inimaginables para ser agentes activos y transformadores de su propia realidad. En definitiva, apostar por los jóvenes venezolanos es y será una inversión de ganancia inconmensurable para esta nación.

ABSTRACT

In recent years in Venezuela, the humanitarian crisis has compromised all aspects of the social life of different sectors of the population. Especially young people have not been free from such problems or challenges, and this is clearly evident in the statistics of the migration processes experienced so far. Studying the perceptions of this demographic group is of utmost importance to understand the dynamics of local practices and actions inherent to them in the framework of current Venezuelan social archeology. Assuming that the different realities that exist in the country manifestly condition or not the achievement of the goals and objectives that young people pursue to open a space where they can execute their skills, talents and potential, in addition to obtaining the recognition of other social actors. The study has an interpretive approach where qualitative methodology at a descriptive level is used using the focus group “group interview” method for collecting information, interpreting the data obtained through the hermeneutic method. Structured in the following phases: 1) Documentary: critical analysis of bibliography based on the thematic area being investigated 2) Field, where a focus group was implemented that had as an instrument a semi-structured interview script, the informants were students from the seventh quarter from the School of Social Communication of the Bicentenaria University of Aragua, with ages between 17 and 20 years selected by a non-probabilistic, intentional sample. Knowing that Venezuelan Youth, despite the adversities of the national panorama, have developed unimaginable potential to be active agents and transformers of their own reality. In short, betting on young Venezuelans is and will be an investment of immeasurable gain for this nation
